![]() I am on the water almost every day fishing the canals in pursuit of the next world record peacock bass. Both can be extremely aggressive when taking a fly. I have spent the last five years in Miami guiding for peacock bass in the “Urban Amazon” that is the Miami Canal system and monster largemouth in the Florida Everglades. I graduated with degrees in Marine Policy and Marketing which are a perfect match for my current profession. When I wrapped up high school, I moved to Florida to attend the University of Miami. Some of my very favorite evenings of my life were spent fishing the magical sulphur hatches in June and July when the trout would simply not stop rising. ![]() This is where my passion for fishing and the outdoors truly began. Captain Scott Rose grew up in a small town called Armonk, New York, and spent most of my early years fly fishing the Farmington River for Brown Trout, Rainbows, and Atlantic Salmon.
